Prayer for Our Nation, Malaysia!! :)

Tomorow is our Nation's birthday ..
and yet H1N1 had got its influence in the grand celebration..
MCA had been in total chaos.. and aso Srwak's political parties !
All of them all facing lots and lots of problems...
Sex scandal of Dr Chua been brought up again..
Inquest for Teoh Beng Hock is still on the run ..
The PKFZ issue involving black funding ..
The criminal cases all over the place in Malaysia
and the loose bond between each and everyone of the nation ..

Trouble and chaos.. throughout the year..

Now is the time... the time for us..
as a citizen ... having a citizenship here which you may or may not want
and even so ... please spend
Just a few second...
Pray for our dear nation..

(This is a prayer that cover a wide aspect.. Not specifically students )

Dear Lord, we come before you today at this moment to ask for your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your words says, "If My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and will turn from their wicked ways, then I will heal their land."

We see many problems in our land and yet we have not turned from our ways.
We have reversed our values and compromised our spiritual identity.
We have exploited the poor and called it the development.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have conveted our neighbour's possesions and called it ambition.
We give and receive bribes and called that administrative fees.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have neglected to discipline our children (brothers and sisters) and called it self esteem.
We have ridiculed the Christian values of our forefathers and called it progress.
We have lost our saltiness and our lights are hidden under the cover.

Search us, Oh, Lord, and know our hearts today; give us courage to humble ourselves and strength to turn away from our wicked ways. Then please, Lord, heal our Land.

We ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, AMEN.
